Egosystem explores the concept of 'Casting Memory,' a process that preserves the history of industrial products instead of deconstructing them. By encasing old studio fixtures—such as an iMac, stools, and carts—within semi-transparent resin, he fixes the memories embedded in these tools into physical forms. The inherent refraction and blurring of the resin visually represent the uncertainty of memory as it fades over time.
In this transformation, a symbolic iMac becomes a chair's backrest, and a broken utility cart is repurposed into a table with a transparent top. These objects, having ceased their original functions, now exist as artistic pieces within a new formal order. The 'Dip series' captures the process by which everyday tools are transmuted into craft objects that carry the user's personal narrative.
