Dip2
Furniture
Dip2 expands the top of a circular studio stool into an amorphous triangular form using resin. The seat, often unnoticed while in use, is blurred within the resin to represent the blind spots of memory, while the newly added triangular top suggests free formal possibilities. Breaking the mold of familiar furniture, this added volume combines user experience with object form to explore the extent to which everyday tools can be expanded.
