ICELAKE draws inspiration from the frozen surface of Lake Baikal.

The transparent resin tabletop captures the icy cracks using textures from a vinyl mold, while the stainless steel supports cast deep, shadowy reflections. Light scattering through the tabletop creates dynamic shadows in the space.

Unlike traditional molds designed for uniformity, I use repurposed vinyl packaging, reducing waste and reusing materials to lessen the carbon footprint of resin furniture production.
